Romeo Beckham has issued a strong message on Instagram following rumours involving his ex-girlfriend and his brother Brooklyn.

Romeo Beckham, son of former footballer David Beckham, sparked speculation on social media with a cryptic Instagram story: “Be kind and don’t tell unnecessary lies,” he wrote, prompting a flurry of reactions from followers.

The post, featuring an iconic image from Roman Holiday, came just hours after his ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, publicly denied having any relationship with Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo’s older brother. Turnbull clarified that they had only shared a teenage friendship and asked for the rumours to stop.

Tensions appear to be rising within the Beckham family: sources close to the family revealed that Brooklyn reportedly skipped a family event to avoid running into Kim, fuelling talk of possible internal divisions.

Despite the drama, Romeo continues to show support for his family. On 13 June, he expressed his pride following his father’s knighthood by King Charles III.
