Rosalía shares a teaser of the music video for her upcoming single “Tuya,” dedicated to a female lover
Rosalía has taken to social media to announce her upcoming single, “Tuya” (Yours). She also shared a teaser of the music video.
In the clip, she sings, “Just for tonight, I am yours / Just for tonight, you are mine.” However, she uses the feminine versions of the words “yours” and “mine,” indicating that this song seemingly revolves around a female lover.
“A few weeks ago, I returned to Tokyo to shoot the ‘TUYA’ video because this city has me in love. ‘TUYA’ WILL BE RELEASED THIS THURSDAY 8th AT 00:00 IN SPAIN, 3:00 PM IN LA, 4 PM IN MEXICO, AND 6 PM IN NY I’M DYING,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which consists of behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming music video. She also shared a teaser.
Prior to “Tuya,” Rosalía collaborated on music with her fiancé, Rauw Alejandro. The celebrity couple previously worked together on RR, their joint EP, which was released in March. Regarding the timing of releasing music together this year, Rosalía told Billboard in a joint interview with Rauw, “We wanted to solidify our relationship and build its foundations, and then, if music was meant to come, it would come.”
