Ross Lynch confirms his marriage at the premiere of ‘Heartland’, his new film with Jessica Chastain, following his recent Xmag cover appearance.

Ross Lynch has surprised fans by confirming that he is married at the premiere of Heartland, his new film alongside Jessica Chastain. The 30-year-old actor and musician, who recently appeared on the cover of Xmag’s Issue 67, attended the thriller’s premiere at New York’s Metrograph cinema on Thursday, 5 November, where one detail attracted particular attention: a gold wedding band on his ring finger.

On the red carpet, Lynch publicly confirmed his marriage for the first time in an exclusive interview with People. “Yes, yes, I’m married,” he replied when asked directly about his relationship status. However, the The Driver Era singer explained that his discretion was not about hiding his relationship, but rather respecting his wife’s privacy.

“I’m not trying to hide it in any way, but my wife isn’t particularly fond of the whole fame thing. So I’m trying to be sensitive to that and respect her. But everything’s good,” he explained.

Although he has not revealed his wife’s identity or the date of their wedding, fans had already picked up on a few clues. When he returned to Instagram last June after almost a year away, he shared several photographs with the caption: “It’s been a while, what have I missed?” One follower responded by asking what they had missed, adding a ring emoji, to which Ross jokingly replied, “A LOT”, alongside a shushing gesture.

‘Heartland’, Ross Lynch’s New Film with Jessica Chastain

The news comes at a particularly significant moment in the artist’s career, as he returns to acting after focusing on his musical project The Driver Era, alongside his brother Rocky Lynch. In Heartland, directed by Shana Feste, Ross plays Jace Jacobs, a young man he describes as a lost soul fascinated by fame. The film stars Jessica Chastain as Misty Jones, a former country music star who returns to Nashville to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her niece.

The cast also includes Garrett Hedlund, Carter Faith, Jennifer Nettles and John Hawkes. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on 13 November.

Ross Lynch also discussed this new chapter in his career in his recent Xmag cover story, photographed by Dylan Perlot in Los Angeles for our The Nostalgia Issue. During the interview, the actor reflected on his artistic evolution, his return to cinema and the music he had been working on.

Now, at the Heartland premiere, Lynch also admitted that he feels particularly fulfilled by the changes in his personal life. “I’ve been focusing a lot on my private life lately, and it’s been really rewarding,” he told People. Between his return to the screen, new musical projects and a marriage that had remained out of the public eye, Ross Lynch is entering a very different chapter of his life, both personally and professionally.
