Sacai Autumn 2025 merges emotion and fashion, creating enveloping garments that express strength, vulnerability, comfort, and protection.
The Sacai Autumn 2025 show was a celebration of creativity, where designer Chitose Abe continued to explore the relationship between clothing and emotions. The pieces, which seem to fuse the conceptual with the commercial, invite experimentation and play with the idea that clothing can express both strength and vulnerability. Abe took this exploration a step further, crafting enveloping silhouettes that embrace the body—such as heavy military jackets, masculine blazers, and feather-filled parkas—layered together for protection and comfort.

Unexpected details, like sequins adorning cargo trousers or synthetic feathers on anoraks, add a playful yet luxurious touch to the pieces. Embroidery inspired by the work of Man Ray, featuring sensual eyes and lips, lends an artistic dimension to the collection, transforming each garment into a unique piece. The collection stands out not only for its aesthetics but also for its message: fashion can be both a means of personal expression and a form of protection, creating a sense of comfort for those who wear it.
