The Saint Laurent Men’s Fall Winter 2025 collection merges classic tailoring with bold details, exploring the duality between opposing structures.

Presented by Anthony Vaccarello on 28th January, the Saint Laurent Men’s Fall Winter 2025 collection delves into the tension between the structured and the fluid, the precise and the excessive. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s haute couture archives and Robert Mapplethorpe’s provocative aesthetic, this line is characterised by a strong duality in its design.

Classic tailoring remains the core, but it is subverted by unexpected details. Double-breasted jackets are cut with precision, while feathered coats introduce an unexpected softness. Fitted trousers and structured coats play with controlled proportions and expansive silhouettes, creating a contrast that holds attention.

Texture experimentation is key in the collection: the contrast between matte wool, cashmere, and glossy leather creates a dialogue of opposites. Feather elements in the coats add a touch of delicacy and movement to otherwise bold and daring pieces.

The presentation, held at the Bourse de Commerce, also reflects this duality, blending industrial modernity with classic opulence. Saint Laurent Men’s Fall Winter 2025 thus reaffirms its ability to merge elegance and provocation, staying true to its identity of innovation and tradition.
