Saint Laurent brings its Rive Droite concept to Beijing with a flagship store in Sanlitun that fuses fashion, contemporary art and collectible design.
Saint Laurent takes a strategic step in its global cultural expansion with the opening of Saint Laurent Rive Droite Beijing, the brand’s first space under this concept in Asia, located in the vibrant district of Sanlitun. Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, the new flagship is conceived as more than a retail destination: it is a multidisciplinary hub where haute couture, contemporary art and design objects converge, aligned with the cultural vision that has defined the Maison in recent years.
The building, spread across three levels, stands out from the outside thanks to a textured concrete façade with a corduroy-like finish — an architectural choice that dialogues with Beijing’s urban landscape while underscoring the brand’s contemporary identity. Inside, the space unfolds through generous volumes, luminous surfaces and a minimalist atmosphere that references Saint Laurent’s Parisian roots, reinterpreted through a global sensibility.

The proposal goes beyond ready-to-wear. The store houses a carefully curated selection of exclusive collections, alongside a private salon on the third floor, conceived as an intimate environment for bespoke services, cultural encounters and VIP events. This approach reinforces the idea of Rive Droite as a holistic cultural experience, rather than luxury retail alone.
To mark this historic opening, the Maison introduces the Saint Laurent Rive Droite Snow Edition, a special collection that blends technical alpine performance with the sophistication of haute couture. The line offers winter essentials designed through a functional and refined aesthetic, encapsulating the Rive Droite lifestyle and its constant dialogue between fashion and utility.
Following the path set by its counterparts in Paris and Los Angeles, the new Beijing space will serve as a permanent platform for cultural programming, including artistic collaborations, limited editions and carefully selected lifestyle objects. More than a commercial expansion, this opening establishes a cultural bridge between East and West, cementing Saint Laurent Rive Droite as one of the most influential projects in the redefinition of contemporary luxury.
