Samuel Ross and ZARA launch SR_A Edition 1, a menswear capsule that fuses art, industrial design, and contemporary fashion.
British designer Samuel Ross, founder of SR_A (Samuel Ross Atelier), joins forces with ZARA to present SR_A Edition 1, a capsule collection of menswear blending art, industrial design, and functional clothing. Set to launch on February 6, this collaboration promises to revolutionize the concept of contemporary attire by merging cultural heritage with cutting-edge design.

The collection stands out for its minimalist and experimental approach, featuring voluminous outerwear crafted from natural-finish fabrics. Designs such as wrap-around coats, oversized hoods, and faux-fur trapper hats not only provide protection but also serve as bold aesthetic statements. Ross describes these pieces as “equipment for a pan-cultural protagonist,” designed for 21st-century individuals seeking a balance between functionality and style.

Accessories, like cotton bags dyed with Velcro closures, enhance the collection’s utilitarian character, while the pairing of Japanese-inspired robust sandals and minimalist sneakers explores the duality of durability and elegance.
This collaboration with ZARA highlights Ross’s ability to redefine menswear, creating pieces that transcend trends and foster a connection between design, art, and global culture.
