The Chinese actress has been appointed as the new face of Burberry Beauty, further extending her relationship with the iconic British brand after being named its global fashion ambassador last November.
Known for her captivating performances in films such as Late Autumn and Decision to Leave, Tang Wei has gained worldwide recognition, establishing herself as one of the most prominent Asian actresses of her generation.
Jean Holtzmann, brand director at Coty Inc., the licensee of Burberry’s beauty and fragrance lines, praised Tang Wei, saying: “Her passion for artistic expression and dedication to her craft make her the perfect embodiment of Burberry Beauty’s values.” The actress will represent iconic lines like Beyond Wear, a long-lasting makeup franchise, and the Burberry Goddess fragrance.
