The iconic outfits from ‘Emily in Paris,’ Season 4, dazzle with bold combinations that blend elegance and vibrant modernity.

‘Emily in Paris’ returns to our screens, with Lily Collins in the lead role, and we’re all eager to see what will happen with her love life, career, and personal growth. Her unique style and essence are something we can count on in every episode.

Season 3 was chaotic in Emily’s life, but it gave us a great variety of looks and combinations that entertained us throughout, adding more drama to her life.

With the anticipation for Season 4 after almost two years, we were all excited to see what our protagonist would wear. Given the previous events—a fling, a canceled wedding, a pregnancy, and more—it’s hard not to wonder how she would dress for such occasions. Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi figured it out, and we’re here to appreciate them and pick our favorites.

The First Look of the Season: The Jacquemus Cardigan, a Burst of Color

In one of the most colorful outfits we see this season, Emily pairs a pink Jacquemus logo knit cardigan with floral Jacquard shorts and a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini corset. To complete the look, she carries a green and white gingham bag by Kate Spade, and finally, her Nodaleto shoes, which are on sale for just €350. The entire look would cost €829.

The Fully Monochromatic Look

Who said the basics in our wardrobe have to be monochromatic? Definitely not Emily Cooper. In this episode, she wears a yellow leather overshirt over a puff-sleeve blouse by Malene Birger, paired with a skirt from Isabel Marant. She completes the look with a quilted fringe bag by Silvia Tcherassi.

The price of the whole outfit exceeds €700, making it much less affordable than the look shown earlier.

Emily’s Layered Feathered Dress

Emily was all about layers this season. She made this textured dress office-appropriate by pairing it with a white shirt and a plaid tie.

The Outfit at the Masquerade Ball

One of the most iconic looks this season features a jumpsuit that flatters our star’s figure, cinched at the waist with a delicately falling open skirt. The Mary Jane strap that cuts right at the waist is a great detail that draws a lot of attention.

Emily’s Cher Horowitz-Inspired Look from Clueless

This look reminds us of the Victorian era, consisting of a feather-cuffed shirt, a velvet bowtie with a jeweled brooch, a black and yellow patterned dress, and a grey tweed coat. In 2024, Emily also takes us back in time with this outfit, which is reminiscent of what we saw in the movie Clueless.’

Emily’s Coordinated Set

In this instance, Emily looked elegant in a skirt and buttoned top by Missoni. They retail at a fairly high price, so unless she’s buying second-hand, we must assume she’s in a higher spending category. Nevertheless, this look shows a more mature side of the character, as the series always ties the characteristics of the outfits directly to the protagonists’ personalities.

Emily’s Hair Accessory

We see that the headband trend has reached Emily’s world. While we love her signature bangs, it was this simple and affordable headband—available at any accessory store—that made her look feel very timely and elevated her simple striped shirt from a wardrobe staple to a modern top. Once again, Emily shows the power of accessories.

The Matching Moment Between Taylor Swift and Emily Cooper

To be honest, all we could think about during this scene was this bag. The iconic heart-shaped bag by Vivienne Westwood is beloved by both celebrities and fictional characters. Last month, Taylor Swift was seen carrying one, and now Emily has also given it her seal of approval. She opted for the multicolor plaid version, which is on sale for €440. Paired with her matching plaid jacket and fun fluffy embellishments, this look was a very grunge-coded version of Emily.
