James Gunn reimagines the Man of Steel in his epic trailer, exploring the human and heroic sides of Superman.

James Gunn has unveiled the first official trailer for his highly anticipated Superman, marking a new chapter in the DC cinematic universe.The two-and-a-half-minute first look expands on the teaser trailer, where fans got their initial glimpse of the iconic hero in action. Superman soars through the skies of Metropolis, accompanied by a slowed-down rendition of John Williams’ classic Superman theme. The trailer opens with a striking image of Superman lying motionless in the snow, blood trickling from his mouth. Midway through the clip, Krypto begins to run toward his master as the fallen hero whispers, “Take me home.”

The upcoming film delves into Superman’s journey to balance his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing, promising a narrative that is both emotional and inspiring. David Corenswet brings youthful warmth to the role, while Rachel Brosnahan delivers a sharp and modern portrayal of Lois Lane.

The trailer also offers a glimpse of the Daily Planet newsroom, introducing characters like Jimmy Olsen, played by Skyler Gisondo, and Perry White, portrayed by Wendell Pierce. However, Lex Luthor—played by Nicholas Hoult—remains shrouded in mystery, leaving fans eager to see how this version of the iconic villain unfolds.
