On June 1st, a new teaser for the second part of “And Just Like That” was released. Carrie and her group are returning to brighten up our summer season.
The video starts one year after Big’s sudden death, with Carrie saying in her characteristic voice-over, “You don’t move on because you’re ready, you move on because you’ve surpassed who you used to be.” Although she thought she had moved past her pain, she admits she still struggles with it. Charlotte receives a job offer but states that her two teenage children need her more than ever at this moment. We see Miranda spending time with Che in Los Angeles, and she asks them, “I don’t know who you are. Is there something you’re not telling me?”
However, we still have no news about Kim Cattrall‘s appearance as Samantha Jones. Her return would be the most anticipated, but we’ll have to wait and see if that happens. Nevertheless, John Corbett will be returning, and at the end of the trailer, we see him on a date with Carrie, where he says, “Sitting here with you, it feels like ten years have passed.”
The first two episodes of the second season will premiere on June 22, 2023. The remaining nine episodes will air weekly on Thursdays.
