Thom Browne presents his Pre-Fall 2025 collection, merging the conceptual with the commercial, drawing inspiration from Americana and birdwatching.
Thom Browne’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection focused on the idea of balance, blending conceptual design with commercial appeal to create a line that continues to surprise with its originality and accessibility. After dressing several celebrities for the 2025 Met Gala, Browne unveiled in Milan a collection that pays tribute to his vision of accessible haute couture, consistent with his brand’s history.

Inspired by birdwatching, the collection offered a mix of classic and experimental pieces, such as cashmere basketball vests, utility jackets, and trousers embroidered with bird motifs. A palette of traditional colours and fabrics—such as tweed and gingham—was paired with modern cuts and iconic silhouettes of American fashion.
What stands out about this collection is how Browne maintains a balance between haute couture and more commercial fashion. Designing simultaneously for men and women with a unified vision, he introduced new tailoring proportions, such as hybrid striped blazers and tuxedos with canvas and corduroy detailing. This collection shows how fashion can be both conceptual and accessible, embodying the true spirit of the Thom Browne brand.
