Zara and Closed team up to launch a children’s denim collection with iconic designs and premium quality.

The German fashion brand Closed, known for its iconic X-pocket jeans and distinctive washes, has teamed up with Zara to launch an exclusive children’s denim collection. This is the second time that Closed has adapted its denim expertise for kids, with this particular line aimed at girls aged 6 to 14.

“We wanted to create a fresh and fun collection while staying true to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship,” said Gordon Giers, co-CEO of Closed. The standout piece in the collection is the signature X-pocket jean, accompanied by denim blousons and vests, along with sweatshirts and cotton T-shirts for added comfort.

The ‘Closed x Zara Kids’ collection has already been launched on Zara’s online store and in selected stores worldwide.

Founded in 1978 by French designers Marithé and François Girbaud, Closed was acquired in the 1990s by German businessmen and is now led by Gordon Giers, Til Nadler, and Hans Redlefsen. While its main focus is on denim and casual wear, the brand also offers footwear and accessories. In 2023, it revamped its visual identity with a new logo and bolder imagery.
