Zayn Malik is back in the spotlight talking about his daughter Khai!
The 30-year-old singer, known for “Pillowtalk,” recently sat down with Alex Cooper for an interview on her podcast Call Her Daddy, which will be released on Wednesday (12th July).
This marks Zayn’s first interview in six years!
In a preview of the interview, Zayn talks about his days in One Direction and shares some rare comments about his two-year-old daughter Khai, from his relationship with Gigi Hadid.
“I feel like we were a bit overexposed in the band,” Zayn says referring to his time in One Direction. “That’s why I took the time I needed to, like, not necessarily do interviews.”
Later in the preview, Zayn says, “Since having my daughter, the main thing on my mind is trying to be a good example for her.”
“That’s why I’m even doing this interview, you know?” Zayn continues. “I used to have a lot of anxiety about having a conversation like this. And I want her to look at me and say, ‘My dad’s doing this.'”
He also revealed, “I’m always told that I tell dad jokes. And I’m embracing it. I’m just like, ‘Yeah. It’s cool’.”
