To accompany the news, the singer shared a teaser image on his official social media accounts. Featuring a dark background with the title ‘MAD’ in striking red, the image has sparked excitement among his followers.
Fans will have the chance to hear the song live for the first time on 5 April during his solo concert, 2025 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE: CONNECTION] IN TAIPEI. This performance is part of ‘CONNECTION’, a concert series where Onew performs alongside a live band. Following successful shows in Yokohama and Seoul, the artist will continue his tour with stops in Taipei, Macau, and eight cities across North America.
With a desire to connect more closely with his international audience, Onew chose to release ‘MAD’ entirely in English. The song features an accessible, easy-to-sing-along-to lyric, reflecting his appreciation for his global fanbase.
The single will be available on major music platforms from 21 April at 6 PM.
