In ‘Caught Stealing’, Butler plays Hank Thompson, a former baseball prospect now working as a bartender in New York, living a quiet life with his partner (played by Zoë Kravitz). Everything changes when a punk neighbour (Matt Smith) asks him to look after his cat and, before he knows it, he becomes entangled in a dangerous web involving gangsters who are after him for reasons he cannot understand.

Directed by Aronofsky, the film blends action, suspense, and a touch of dark humour, pushing the protagonist to use all his wit to survive and uncover the truth before it is too late.
