Omar Rudberg returns with ‘Dying’, an emotional ballad that cements his place as a key voice in contemporary European pop.
After a summer of acclaimed festival performances across Europe, Omar Rudberg makes a powerful comeback with his brand-new single ‘Dying’, released via Atlantic Records and TEN Records. The track, a vulnerable yet striking pop ballad, speaks of surrender, of singing from the soul when emotions can no longer be contained.
“For me, this song is about letting go and singing straight from the heart. It’s simple, yet at the same time massive — like when you can no longer hold back everything you’re feeling. It carries both pride and vulnerability, and that’s what makes it so real,” explains Omar, who admits that ‘Dying’ deeply reflects his experiences over the past few years.
The music video, directed by Damon Baker — a visual artist recognised for his work with Taylor Swift, Zendaya, Miley Cyrus and MGK — offers a striking, cinematic narrative that places Omar between fragility and emotional strength. Its intimate aesthetic reinforces the song’s confessional dimension, further amplifying its impact.
In addition, the Swedish artist has been confirmed as the support act on Zara Larsson’s highly anticipated European tour, which kicks off on 28 October in Munich and will visit 16 cities across the continent, including London, Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Oslo.
With ‘Dying’, Omar Rudberg showcases his artistic maturity and establishes himself as one of the most authentic rising voices in today’s European pop.
