Taylor Swift breaks her silence on the Super Bowl: she’d rather focus on Travis Kelce than take the grand stage.

Taylor Swift has spoken loud and clear about one of the most persistent rumours in recent months — her possible performance at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show. The artist, who just turned 35 and is living one of the most successful chapters of her career, confirmed in a recent TV appearance that, for now, she has no intention of stepping onto that stage.

“Jay-Z has always been really good to me. Our teams get along very well. Sometimes they call and ask, ‘How does she feel about this?’ but it’s never been a formal offer,” Swift admitted casually. Her statement dismisses previous reports suggesting that talks had fallen through due to contractual issues.

However, it was her bond with Travis Kelce that truly motivated her decision to pause any Super Bowl-related plans. “I’m in love with a guy who plays that sport, on that field. It’s violent chess. Gladiators without swords. It’s dangerous,” she said passionately, making it clear that her current focus is on the pitch, not the stage.

With her trademark humour, Taylor added: “Can you imagine him risking his life every week while I’m thinking, ‘What choreography should I do? Should we squeeze in two verses of Shake It Off and then Cruel Summer?’”

Although she made it clear that Kelce supports her unconditionally, Swift concluded firmly: “This isn’t about Travis. He’d love for me to do it. But I’m just too focused.”

For now, fans will have to keep dreaming of that half-time show. But if Taylor has made anything clear, it’s that when that moment comes, it will be entirely on her terms.
