Although she had never considered it before, she admitted to PEOPLE that she was “freaking out” when the opportunity came her way. “It didn’t even cross my mind to ever walk a runway, let alone for Victoria’s Secret — it’s the biggest one. It took me a minute to process; I really didn’t expect it. Then I got super emotional.”
In the same interview, she reflected on her journey: “I knew what I wanted from a very young age. I didn’t grow up in a Hollywood family or anything like that, so there was no plan B,” she said. “I’m someone who goes after what I want. If I want something, I’ll do everything I can to achieve it and keep moving forward.”
“I think confidence comes from knowing my worth and believing in myself — which is never easy,” she added. “Every day I learn something new about myself and my craft, and as I get older, things just evolve.”
