Speculation began in May, when Brooklyn Beckham did not attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday, a gesture that fuelled theories of a distance between him and his parents and siblings. The absence of any member of the Beckham clan from the vow renewal of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz in August cemented public perception that something wasn’t right. Although the family hasn’t directly confirmed or denied these theories, Victoria Beckham hinted at shifting dynamics during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast: “We’re such a close family… but they’ve got to go on their own journeys.”
Now, according to Heat, an unexpected reunion may be on the cards: the entire family is expected to attend the wedding of Holly Ramsay, daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, taking place on 27 December. The two families have maintained a very close relationship for years, making this event a neutral — and symbolic — setting for a potential reconciliation.
A close source told the magazine that the news of Brooklyn confirming his attendance completely caught Victoria off guard: “She didn’t expect it at all. She didn’t think he would come with the current situation.” According to the insider, the designer had been anxious throughout the hen-do weekend, fearing an emotionally tense encounter.
For his part, Brooklyn denied any conflict during an appearance at the Ryder Cup in September. “There will always be people saying negative things, but I have a very understanding wife. We live our life and we’re happy,” he said, before shutting down the topic: “They’re always going to talk rubbish.”
