The Karl Lagerfeld brand has announced an impressive new luxury residential project on Al Marjan Island, strengthening its global expansion in premium architectural design.

The Karl Lagerfeld house continues its international growth within the luxury residences sector, unveiling an ambitious agreement to develop a seafront complex on Al Marjan Island, one of the most coveted destinations in Ras Al Khaimah. Presented following the official signing ceremony in Paris, the project consolidates the brand’s global footprint in the world of premium architectural design and positions the United Arab Emirates as a rising epicentre of high-end residential living.

The development — described as an ultra-luxury enclave and valued at more than $1.4 billion — is expected to be completed in 2028, offering 663 sea-view residences, including one- to four-bedroom apartments and exclusive units with private pools. Among its standout features are 20 podium villas, 10 sky villas or panoramic penthouses, and 11 beachfront villas, all conceived to elevate the experience of those seeking a sophisticated lifestyle connected to their surroundings.

Residents will enjoy hotel-level amenities, including cafés and restaurants, a private beach club, and a sky bar with an infinity pool. AARK Developers, the Dubai-based developer, emphasises that the partnership is built on a shared vision of design as a transformative force for wellbeing and modern living. For its part, the Karl Lagerfeld leadership highlights that Al Marjan Island offered the perfect canvas to bring the creator’s unmistakable aesthetic to life, pursuing a concept that fuses creativity, modernity and functionality.

The announcement comes at a time of exponential growth for Ras Al Khaimah as a luxury destination, boosted by the forthcoming opening of the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in 2027, which will host the UAE’s first casino and further enhance the emirate’s tourism and entertainment appeal. Meanwhile, the brand continues to develop another residential project in Dubai with Taraf Holding, alongside ventures in Marbella, Malaysia, and a 271-room hotel in Macao, reinforcing the global appetite for branded residences and the enduring aesthetic legacy of the legendary designer.
