If you didn’t have the chance to watch Charli XCX’s new film in cinemas, you can now enjoy it from the comfort of your home.
The 33-year-old ‘Brat’ superstar originally premiered her mockumentary ‘The Moment’ on 23 January. From Wednesday, 4 March, the film is now available to purchase or rent on Apple TV and Prime Video.
On both platforms, the film can be purchased for $24.99 or rented for $19.99. Rentals include 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to finish it once playback has begun.
The official synopsis describes the story as follows: “As her arena tour debut approaches, a pop star (Charli XCX) finds herself caught in the afterglow of a breakout summer, where ambition, ego and industry excess collide. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, ‘The Moment’ is a sly, self-aware backstage satire that captures the thrill of creative momentum and the growing pressure of what it takes to stay on top.”
In a recent interview, Charli XCX also confirmed that ‘The Moment’ officially marks the end of her ‘Brat’ era, a creative chapter that shaped both her aesthetic and musical narrative in recent years.
The film is still screening in select cinemas, and tickets can still be purchased through Fandango.
