The Formula 1 driver collaborates with Chivas Regal on a 16-year-old blend, taking part in the entire creative process from Scotland.
Charles Leclerc and Chivas Regal have introduced a new limited edition that redefines their partnership: a 16-year-old whisky co-created from the ground up by the Ferrari driver alongside the distillery’s team. The launch took place in Miami during the Grand Prix, reinforcing the growing intersection between luxury, sport, and contemporary culture.
This project marks a turning point in Leclerc’s relationship with the brand. Moving beyond his role as a global ambassador, he steps into the position of co-creator for the first time, actively involved in every stage of the process, from selecting flavour profiles to shaping the final blend.
The concept originated as a creative challenge between Leclerc and Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, resulting in a composition of 16 whiskies, each aged for a minimum of 16 years. The blend is anchored by the depth of Longmorn, with a character shaped by sherry casks, adding richness and complexity.

Leclerc travelled to Scotland to immerse himself in the craft, exploring different combinations and aromatic profiles before arriving at a final expression that reflects both the house’s heritage and his personal vision. “Sixteen has always been more than just a number for me — it’s something that has followed me throughout my career,” he explained. “Going to Scotland, seeing the distilleries and understanding the dedication behind every cask inspired me to create my own blend.”
The whisky unfolds in layers, opening with notes of mandarin and honey, before evolving into hints of toasted oak and spice, achieving a balance between warmth and depth.
Beyond the product itself, the release represents a new model of collaboration within the luxury sector — one where the associated figure contributes not only their image but also their creative input. Priced at $69.99, this limited edition reinforces Chivas Regal’s strategy of integrating global talent into product development.
The result is more than a whisky — it is an extension of Charles Leclerc’s identity, translated into the language of blending.
