Bella Hadid returned to the Cannes Film Festival alongside her brother Anwar Hadid during the premiere of ‘Garance’.

  • The model once again became one of the festival’s biggest stars with an elegant Prada look paired with dazzling Chopard jewellery.

The Cannes Film Festival simply would not feel the same without Bella Hadid. The 29-year-old supermodel has once again brought the French Riviera to a standstill, proving exactly why she remains the undisputed queen of the festival’s red carpet.

After sharing a retrospective of her most iconic festival looks from the past nine years on social media under the caption “My favourite week”, Bella officially made her red carpet debut at the 79th edition of the festival on Sunday, 17 May — and she did not arrive alone.

  • A family red carpet moment

For the premiere of ‘Garance’, directed by Jeanne Herry, at the iconic Palais des Festivals, Bella appeared alongside a very special guest: her younger brother, Anwar Hadid. Together, they became the most stylish sibling duo of the evening, radiating effortless chemistry as they climbed the festival’s famous steps.

“Honey I’m home,” the model joked on Instagram, first posing in front of a giant Chopard billboard featuring her own image.

  • The look details: haute couture and diamonds

Styled by longtime collaborator Mimi Cuttrell, Bella chose a custom Prada creation that perfectly fused Old Hollywood glamour with modern sophistication.

  • The dress: A bespoke strapless design delicately embellished with crystal embroidery across the bodice and a silhouette that elongated her figure effortlessly.
  • The statement piece: A dramatic matching satin cape with voluminous sleeves that delivered exactly the level of glamour Cannes demands.
  • The jewellery: As a global ambassador for Chopard, one of the festival’s principal sponsors, Bella completed the look with dazzling high jewellery pieces from the maison.

Meanwhile, Anwar Hadid embraced a more understated elegance, allowing his sister to remain the focal point of the evening. He also wore Prada, opting for a classic black gabardine tuxedo paired with a crisp white poplin shirt and matching tie.

  • This is only the beginning

Although the main red carpet appearance took place yesterday, Bella had already been drawing attention throughout the previous days while moving through Antibes and Nice in archival couture pieces, including vintage Elie Saab looks.

Considering the festival has only just begun, something tells us Bella and her stylist still have several unforgettable fashion moments prepared for the rest of the week. Because why impress once when you can completely own the red carpet over and over again?

Bien joué, Bella!
