PinkPantheress stars in Victoria’s Secret PINK’s new campaign to introduce the Foldover Super Flare, an exaggerated take on Y2K flared leggings.
Victoria’s Secret PINK is looking directly to the 2000s for one of its key launches of the season. The brand has chosen PinkPantheress as the face of its new autumn release, a collaboration that puts flared trousers firmly back at the centre of fashion trends while reviving one of the most recognisable silhouettes of the Y2K aesthetic.
At the heart of the campaign is the Foldover Super Flare, a reinterpretation of the classic foldover-waist leggings that dominated casual fashion during the early 2000s. PINK retains the most recognisable elements of the original design while exaggerating its proportions for a generation that has transformed nostalgia into a tool for fashion experimentation.
The most noticeable change appears at the bottom of the trousers. The new Victoria’s Secret PINK flared leggings feature an approximately 14-inch leg opening, almost doubling the volume of a traditional flare. The result is a much more dramatic silhouette that combines comfort, statement-making proportions and an urban attitude.
