KidSuper brings Vincent Cassel back into focus with never-before-seen photographs taken in Paris to celebrate the launch of its Outside the Box collection.
Vincent Cassel once again takes centre stage in the KidSuper universe. Coinciding with the launch of the first drop from its Autumn Winter 2026 collection, the brand founded by Colm Dillane has released a series of previously unseen photographs of the French actor, taken in Paris during the filming of the short film that accompanied the presentation of Outside the Box.
The story behind the collaboration began during Paris Fashion Week in January 2026. To present the season, Dillane decided to bring cinema back into his creative storytelling and build the entire show around an original film starring Cassel. The choice was far from accidental: the designer grew up watching the French actor’s films and has long considered him an important creative influence.

The short film placed Vincent Cassel in a disorientating version of Paris, one that initially appeared ordinary before reality gradually began to unravel. After wandering through the streets of the French capital, the protagonist entered a café where a series of small events slowly began to alter his perception.
A woman suddenly disappeared, his coffee began to shake and the setting itself eventually vanished around him. Finally, Cassel was left completely alone inside a white void. From that moment onwards, the film and the physical runway presentation began to merge, deliberately erasing the boundaries between fiction and reality.
This visual interplay perfectly encapsulates the concept behind KidSuper’s Outside the Box. Colm Dillane constructed the collection around questions of simulation, repetition and how we react when the structures we consider normal suddenly stop functioning as expected.

The actor was also present at the show in Paris, further strengthening the connection between screen and runway. During the presentation, one of the models appeared in a look that echoed the aesthetic worn by Cassel in the film, while projections and the set design continued to blur the distinction between the two worlds.
Now, months after the original presentation, KidSuper is revisiting the project with never-before-seen images of Vincent Cassel. The photographs were taken across different Paris locations during production of the short film and had remained unreleased until the arrival of Drop 1.

More than simply campaign imagery, the photographs offer another perspective on the creative process. Cassel appears immersed in the streets and locations where the story took shape, expanding the visual world of a collaboration that was never intended to be confined to a single moment in the season.
The Autumn Winter 2026 collection also marked Dillane’s return to film as a fundamental element of a KidSuper presentation. Rather than presenting the clothes in isolation, the designer placed them within a character-driven narrative before carrying those same ideas onto the runway.
