Diego Calva is the cover star of Xmag UK’s second edition, following Ross Lynch, who featured on the first. The Mexican actor takes the spotlight at a significant moment in his career, after the Cannes debut of ‘Club Kid‘ and the film’s presentation at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
Directed by Jordan Firstman, ‘Club Kid’ stars Calva alongside Firstman and Cara Delevingne. The film follows a New York party promoter whose life changes when a woman arrives at his door with a boy she says is his son.
In the new issue, Calva looks back on how his career began and shares memories of working with Brad Pitt. He also talks about the support Margot Robbie gave him while he was in Hollywood filming ‘Babylon’. In the interview, he reflects on the need for Hollywood to change the way it sees and portrays Latino characters.
