Netflix’s new thriller ‘Obsession’ ranks number in Twitter trends due to the sex scene that occurred in episode two.
Netflix‘s new BDSM thriller , titled ‘Obsession‘, was released last April 13 on the platform. Since its release, it has become a trend for its explicit scenes. In fact, it has given a lot to talk about especially because of the solo sex scene that occurs in episode 2.

Approximately 25 minutes into the episode, Anna Barton (played by Charlie Murphy ) comes out of her hotel and her lover William Farrow (played by Richard Armitage ) has an unimaginable idea. As soon as he gets into his black car, William requests hotel room number 10, from which Anna has just checked out.
When he enters the room, he goes to the bed and begins to pick up the sheets. Just when you start to wonder what’s going on, he starts sniffing them, along with the pillows. That’s when you realize he ‘s masturbating.
The intimate scene has sparked craziness on social media and has gone viral. What is displayed on the screen is actually what is known as a a case of olfactophilia. It is about a term coined by Sigmund Freud that speaks of the sexual arousal of people when they perceive odors.
Although the series is a BDSM thriller , the scene has crossed a boundary that most are used to, which says a lot considering Netflix advocates inclusivity. To support its launch, Netflix launched an immersive erotic experience in the heart of London’s Soho featuring all things sex.
