As a Chanel ambassador, it was inevitable that BLACKPINK member Jennie would be one of the many stars who understood the task at this year’s Met Gala, whose theme for 2023 was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.
As a result, the K-pop star adorned the humble red carpet dressed in an ivory duchesse satin bustier dress from Chanel, adorned with a white camellia flower and a striking black ribbon. The outfit was taken from look 164 of the brand’s Fall/Winter 1990/1991 Prêt-à-Porter collection, paying true homage to Lagerfeld’s vintage designs.
Jennie paired the classic look with Chanel bag and shoes, as well as high jewelry and Chanel makeup. To complete the Met Gala ensemble, the artist wore her hair with a thick braid and matching camellia flower, combining the look with black gloves, a choker, and stockings.
