Here’s your first glimpse at the biopic of Priscilla Presley, directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Jacob Elordi.

On Tuesday, A24 released the poster for the upcoming film, featuring Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley and Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla Presley. And now, we have the trailer.

In a 2022 interview with Vogue, Coppola stated that “Priscilla” will be based on Priscilla Presley’s 1985 biography, “Elvis and Me,” which recounts her life with her husband from their marriage to the events leading to their divorce.

“I’ve had her memoir for years, and I remember reading it a long time ago,” Coppola said. “I was very interested in Priscilla’s story and her perspective on what it felt like to grow up as a teenager in Graceland. She was going through all the stages of youth in such an amplified world, something akin to Marie Antoinette.”

“The character goes from 15 to 27 years old throughout the film, so they had to be able to act and age over a long period of time,” she said. “It was very important to me to have the same actress playing Priscilla in those different stages of her life, and I think Cailee can do it. She’s a very talented actress and also has a very youthful look.”

The film’s release date has not yet been announced.
