Rapper Cardi B stunned in a spectacular winged cape at the front row of Schiaparelli, seated alongside Tracee Ellis Ross and Gwendoline Christie.

Today, on Monday, Schiaparelli kicked off the haute couture week with a striking show featuring famous rapper Cardi B. The artist donned a dreamy winged cape that caught everyone’s attention at the front row of the event. Sitting next to Tracee Ellis Ross and Gwendoline Christie, Cardi B made her triumphant entrance in an elegant velvet dress, declaring it “beautiful and incredible.”

During the show, Cardi B’s excitement was evident. She exclaimed with excitement, “I’m sitting next to Tracee Ellis Ross. See you after the show, my little truffles.” However, as the runway came to an end, the rapper was overwhelmed by guests seeking to capture a photo with her, prompting her to make a quick exit.

Cardi B’s winged cape, though stunning, proved less surprising compared to the hyperrealistic animal-themed pieces showcased in the previous season of Schiaparelli. The cape, constructed with looped fabric to create volume, was undoubtedly imitation but still impressive.

Tracee Ellis Ross, a frequent wearer of Schiaparelli creations on red carpets, opted for a more relaxed ensemble. The actress sported a purple silk pajama-style suit. Ellis Ross, who has closely followed Daniel Roseberry’s evolution as a designer since his first haute couture collection in 2019, praised the creator’s work, stating, “He is a true artist. I love how he transforms his inspiration in each collection. And especially with haute couture, you can see it in all its splendor.”

During the event, Ellis Ross shared details of her recent film, “Cold Copy,” in which she portrays a character very different from those she has played before. With a smile, she revealed, “She’s a really terrible person, but it was so much fun to play her. Plus, I have straight hair with bangs.” The actress also disclosed that her next project is a Christmas movie called “Candy Cane Lane,” where she will share scenes with Eddie Murphy.

Seated alongside Ellis Ross was Gwendoline Christie, renowned for her role in “Game of Thrones.” Christie and model Marisa Berenson, who were both in the front row, quickly became friends. They took selfies together and asked spectators to capture photos and videos of their encounter.

Christie, a long-time admirer of Daniel Roseberry, praised the show and the designer’s evolution. She highlighted his ability to combine imagination with craftsmanship and his excellent relationship with his team. Christie commented, “I love seeing Daniel’s work evolve. He’s a well-trained designer who expands his imagination but also maintains an extremely happy relationship with his atelier. It’s a delight to receive his work.”

Roseberry’s runway showcased numerous looks that are sure to make a mark on future red carpets. Garments with dramatic volumes, exaggerated proportions, and mirrored suits caught attention. Irina Shayk walked draped in flowers dramatically descending down her arm, while the final looks featured designs in white silk with painted feathers, creating a dazzling visual effect.

With Cardi B’s participation and the presence of prominent entertainment industry figures, Schiaparelli’s runway marked the beginning of a fashion week filled with elegance and originality. Daniel Roseberry continues to solidify his position as a visionary designer, capable of surprising and delighting with each of his creations in the world of haute couture.
