After its debut at Harrods in London, Prada Caffè is making its presence felt along the Italian coastline with its latest establishment in Florence, Italy.
Prada’s opulent motifs reign supreme within the original 1930s bistro, which was opened by a Florentine family and quickly became a sought-after seaside destination during the Italian summer season. While the mint green Harrods Caffè draws inspiration from art deco, Prada has preserved the restaurant’s original design, with Florentine architect Michele Bonan incorporating distinctive brand elements.

Prada’s Caffè Principe exudes a retro vibe, characterized by 1950s furniture that exudes vintage charm. Delicate wooden tables and woven chairs provide guests with a relaxing space to savor a quick bite, while the outdoor seating area basks in the everlasting summer sun. The overhead glass displays the “Principe” emblem, accompanied by nostalgic 1960s wallpaper and curtains sourced from Prada’s textile archives.
The menu showcases light and timeless refreshments, including fresh Caprese salads, dainty sandwiches, and traditional French pastries.
