It’s no secret that the upcoming Barbie movie has been fueling the imagination of the young-at-heart worldwide.
And President Barbie – oops – actress Issa Rae is clearly no exception. Ironically, her confession is also resonating with women.
“My Barbies were fulfilling scenarios,” Rae told the interviewer. “As a kid, I just wanted to play and tell stories and make them kiss,” she continued boldly. “They were my opportunity to play God – for me, Barbies were like the Sims before I played the Sims… They were also like sex education when I didn’t know what sex was.”
