FENTY and PUMA join forces once again to relaunch the iconic Avanti in exciting colors, a stylish comeback!
Fenty and PUMA have made an exciting comeback, collaborating after a long hiatus to unveil a refreshed version of the famous Avanti. Initially introduced in a dazzling metallic silver color, Rihanna and the footwear brand are back with two new colors set to be released next month.
Despite being a newcomer to Fenty’s repertoire, the Avanti was actually introduced by PUMA in 2001, inspired by 1980s football legends such as Eusebio, Pelé, and Maradona. Speaking about the decision to revive this iconic silhouette, Rihanna explained, ‘I wanted to bring something iconic from the archives to the streets, and the late and great Pelé made the Avanti footwear iconic.’
This collaboration has reintroduced the Avanti in a vibrant emerald green and deep navy blue. Following the pattern of the previous release, the PUMA x Fenty Avanti features a premium leather upper with the FENTY logo embossed, along with white and brown rubber soles.
