George Clooney firmly shuts the door on any future Batman appearances, citing past regrets and the infamous 1997 Batman & Robin.
George Clooney has emphatically stated that he will never again don the Batman cape and cowl. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the acclaimed actor and director expressed that there aren’t enough drugs in the world to convince him to return to the role of the Dark Knight.
Despite briefly reprising his role as Bruce Wayne in The Flash, Clooney insisted that it was a one-time exception, and fans shouldn’t expect to see him in future Batman films. Reflecting on his infamous 1997 portrayal in Batman & Robin, Clooney humorously called it “embarrassing,” joking that he wouldn’t even let his wife watch the critically panned movie.
