Lisa from Blackpink surprises fans with a Christmas rendition of a Britney Spears song, as the group gears up for a virtual concert
The members of Blackpink are taking over Christmas with three big announcements. Leading the way, Lisa released a cover of Britney Spears‘ ‘My Only Wish (This Year).’ Known for her rap, Lisa showcased a different vocal side in this romantic cover set against the backdrop of Paris.
In addition, today on December 26, the group presents ‘Blackpink: A VR Encore,’ a virtual reality concert. On her end, Jennie announced the launch of her own company, OA, in the new year, focusing on products beyond music. This is Lisa’s first solo project since her 2021 album ‘Lalisa.’
While fans eagerly await the virtual concert, the future plans of Jisoo and Rosé remain a mystery. Blackpink, who headlined Coachella in 2023 and renewed exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment, continues to reign supreme in the music scene.
