Dior and Stone Island merge Parisian haute couture with Italian urban fashion in their innovative capsule collaboration.
With a focus on craftsmanship front and center, Kim Jones has brought on board the classic Italian urban fashion brand Stone Island, founded by Massimo Osti, for the latest Dior Men capsule collaboration.

Kim Jones’s collaborations have become a distinctive feature at Dior. During his tenure as creative director at the prestigious French fashion house, he has enlisted a series of renowned collaborators, including KAWS, Travis Scott, and now Stone Island. These collaborations allow Jones to explore modern themes and the intersections between haute couture and urban fashion. In this unprecedented capsule, Dior and Stone Island come together to merge Parisian haute couture with the functional details of northern Italy.

By merging the conventions and techniques of both fashion houses, the collection is heavily influenced by military silhouettes. Embracing Dior’s tailoring traditions, the collection finds a meeting point between both brands, incorporating premium materials and dyeing and embroidery techniques from both Dior and Stone Island. The pieces bear the shared mark with the distinctive symbols and signs of both labels, including Dior’s ‘Double Pleat’ from the Spring/Summer 1952 haute couture collection and Stone Island’s ‘Dutch Rope’ detail.
