Emily Ratajkowski Leads the ‘Toe Ring’ Sandal Trend in Tory Burch’s New Summer Campaign
Tory Burch‘s new summer campaign has been launched today, featuring Emily Ratajkowski in the brand’s limited edition Ice Cream Shop collection. Photographed in Mexico City, the entire campaign is beautifully executed, but one particularly striking detail has caught my attention: she wore two different types of flat toe ring sandals, both in black and white.
The model and bestselling author is now the latest celebrity to embrace the toe ring sandal trend (following Kylie Jenner, of course), making the style a strong contender for this season’s MVP.
Emily Ratajkowski’s Embellished Sandals
Metallic accessories are definitely having their moment in footwear right now. The trend makes another appearance in Tory Burch’s black leather Jessa sandal, a strappy shoe with gold hardware in the shape of a horse’s head. Who needs earrings when you can wear jewelry on your feet?
Ratajkowski was photographed wearing the toe ring sandals with a long-sleeve sheer striped top. The understated look was just right, keeping the main focus on her slip-ons.

Ratajkowski also wore the Patos sandals, which the brand describes as an “architectural take on a toe ring sandal.” First seen on the Spring ’24 runway, the runway sample is not currently available for purchase.
In the campaign, she paired the summer shoes with a light blue bag and a blue zebra-print top matched with jacquard shorts.
