Prada and Raf Simons dazzled in Milan with their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, blending art, innovation, and timeless elegance.
Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons once again shone at Milan Fashion Week with their showcase for Spring/Summer 2025, marking an unforgettable event. Held at Prada’s Milan headquarters, the show transformed the traditional runway design with curved benches and an impromptu house resonating with techno beats, immersing attendees in an atmosphere of unfamiliar charm.

Titled “Closer,” the collection redefined archetypes of menswear with elevated silhouettes and disappearing details as models walked the runway. From pronounced pleats in shirts to straight-legged trousers with innovative accents, each garment prompted questioning of our perception of time and everyday fashion.

Meticulous details included ultra-short jackets and trench coats dramatized with wired collars, contrasting with soft leather sweaters and vibrant knitwear featuring triangular cutouts. Tribute t-shirts to Bernard Buffet completed the collection’s expressionist narrative, alongside zippered jumpsuits and silver-toed footwear that captured Prada’s unique essence.

At the conclusion of the show, Prada and Simons received a standing ovation, solidifying their position as visionaries in contemporary fashion.
