The Prada runway show for Spring 2025, presented at Milan Fashion Week, once again demonstrated Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ ability to reinvent fashion. With a surprising and daring approach, this season’s collection shifted away from the flirty tones of the previous one, embracing a more gothic and futuristic aesthetic, blending classic elegance with avant-garde elements.
Prada and Simons showcased reinterpreted iconic silhouettes. Structured dresses adorned with metal rings and pencil skirts resting at the hips and cinched with belts at the waist stood out. Colors ranged from jewel greens to deep purples, adding a mysterious and sinister air to the collection.
Stylistic irony was also evident: garments decorated with feathers and mirrors were paired with nylon windbreakers, while trousers were tucked into leather boots as if they were workwear. Geometric sunglasses and thin folio bags are poised to be the most coveted accessories of the season.
