Zara launches its resale platform in the U.S. and unveils a capsule collection with Nanushka, focused on men’s fashion, jewelry, and home goods.

Zara, the flagship brand of the Inditex group, strengthens its strategy in the fashion industry with two major announcements. On October 21, the Spanish company revealed its collaboration with the Hungarian brand Nanushka for the launch of a capsule collection and the expansion of its resale platform, ‘Zara Pre-Owned’, in the United States.

The Nanushka x Zara capsule collection, available from October 28, is the result of a collaboration between Sandra Sándor, Nanushka’s founder, and Zara’s design team. This collection focuses on men’s fashion, jewelry, and home goods, all under the ‘East Meets West’ aesthetic that defines the Hungarian brand. This is Nanushka’s first time designing a large-scale furniture line, complemented by home items such as candles and cushions, maintaining its signature fusion of Eastern and Western influences.

At the same time, Zara will launch its ‘Zara Pre-Owned’ resale platform in the U.S. on October 22. This strategic market is the first outside of Europe to receive the initiative. The platform, which debuted in the U.K. in 2022, is already active in 16 European markets. Its goal is to promote a more sustainable business model by offering customers the ability to resell items from previous seasons, donate used clothing for recycling or repurposing, and repair garments to extend their lifespan.

Both moves underscore Zara’s commitment to diversification, sustainability, and collaboration with renowned designers, solidifying its position as a global leader in the fashion industry.
