According to an exclusive source for PEOPLE magazine, the supermodel and Valente are very happy about this new chapter in their lives. “Gisele and Joaquim hope to create a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” the source stated.
Bündchen and Valente began sparking romance rumors in 2022 after they were seen vacationing together in Costa Rica with her children. The images, where both were enjoying the water with radiant smiles, went viral, especially due to her recent divorce from NFL player Tom Brady. The separation followed Brady’s decision to prioritize his career over the marriage.
Earlier this year, Bündchen shared on Instagram how self-defense classes with the Valente brothers have transformed her life. “I believe that the more tools we have, the better. I feel stronger, more confident, and empowered since I started practicing self-defense,” she wrote in a video. Both she and Valente posed together for Dust Magazine, which further reinforced suspicions about their relationship.
