Piaget presents the ‘Altiplano Skeleton Métiers d’Art’, a luxury piece that combines skeleton watchmaking, high jewellery, and cloisonné enamel in a unique masterpiece.

Piaget has unveiled the ‘Altiplano Skeleton Métiers d’Art,’ an exceptional piece that combines the mastery of skeleton watchmaking, gemstone setting, and cloisonné enamel. This timepiece stands out for its unique craftsmanship and the fusion of high jewellery with high watchmaking, a hallmark of the Maison.

Created in collaboration with Piaget’s ‘Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire’ and the renowned enamel artist Anita Porchet, the watch incorporates an innovative Grand Feu cloisonné enamel. This enamel, skillfully applied, features a soft colour palette in shades of blue, green, and purple, forming an abstract pattern that adorns both the front and back of the dial, creating a harmonious fusion of colours.

Piaget’s 1200D movement has been optimised into the 1201D1, with gemstone details integrated into the architectural lines of the skeleton movement. Despite its complexity, the watch maintains Piaget’s signature ultra-thin profile, with a thickness of just 7mm.

Limited to only eight pieces, the Altiplano Skeleton Métiers d’Art continues to redefine the boundaries of luxury watchmaking, blending tradition with modern innovation.
