Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have decided to separate after 10 years of marriage, prioritising the well-being of their children.

Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have announced their separation after ten years of marriage. The 44-year-old singer and entrepreneur stated in a statement that they have been living separately and are going through a “painful situation.” Simpson added that their children’s welfare remains their top priority throughout this process.

The couple, who married in July 2014, have three children: Maxwell Drew, 12; Ace Knute, 11; and Birdie Mae, 5. The news of their separation surfaced after Simpson stopped sharing photos with Johnson on social media and was seen without her wedding ring since early 2024. Additionally, Johnson’s absence from several family photos, such as those celebrating the start of their children’s school year, fuelled speculation about their relationship.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson began dating in 2010 and married in 2014. Prior to Jessica, was married to Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2005. Both have requested privacy during this process and are committed to focusing on co-parenting their children.
