Set to play a character in the ‘Fantastic Four’ movie, Adam Driver could be having final talks for his MCU membership.
Actor Adam Driver is currently finalizing a deal to star in a role in the MCU. Specifically, Driver is expected to star in the upcoming reboot of the ‘Fantastic Four ‘ reboot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . Initial reports were made late last year when it was rumored that Driver would be playing Mr. Fantastic or Doctor Doom.

Respected industry insider Daniel Richtman reported that Driver is in final talks with Marvel Studios to play Reed Richards. For months, his name has been circling to join the UCM. In January, Driver was said to be the “best casting choice” to play Reed Richards in the reboot. While the reboot is still years away, initial development has already indicated that fans can expect the film to arrive on time.

After multiple delays, the reboot will finally begin filming in early 2024. WandaVision‘ director Matt Shakman is expected to direct the project, while ‘Avatar: The Way of Water‘ director Josh Friedman is expected to write the script. However, no other stars have been confirmed, rumors indicated that Austin Butler could be cast to play Johnny Storm, while other rumors say Rachel Brosnahan or Jodie Comer could play Sue Storm.
