Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are celebrating over a decade of friendship as they star together in a fun new campaign.
The Pitch Perfect stars have teamed up once again—this time away from the musical stage. The actresses from the hit 2012 comedy are fronting a new campaign for the launch of Splash Refresher, a drink they’re not only promoting but also using as a chance to share insights into their deep bond.
Filmed in a kitchen, the actresses displayed undeniable chemistry. Rebel, staying true to her trademark humour, joked that the drink was “better than taking your bra off at the end of the day,” while Anna laughed and added that it was “more refreshing than ageing gracefully.” With Anna in a pink crop top and jeans and Rebel in a blue cardigan over a black top, the pair proved that time has only strengthened their connection.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Anna admitted that it was their differences that ultimately brought them closer over the years: “All those very different women became family.” Rebel agreed: “We come from such different worlds, but something magical brought us together.”
Their recent get-together in London with Chrissie Fit has reignited rumours of a possible Pitch Perfect 4—a prospect that, according to Anna, could become reality if Rebel takes the lead.
