Apple will introduce the iPhone 16 in September, along with new Apple Watch models, AirPods, and software updates at its annual event.
On Monday morning, Apple sent out official invitations for its annual iPhone launch event. This year, the program, titled “It’s Glowtime,” is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 9, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.
During the event, the tech giant is expected to unveil the iPhone 16 series, along with new Apple Watch models, AirPods, and additional software updates.
According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are rumored to include an A18 chip with 8 GB for Apple Intelligence, an action button, a camera capture button, and new colors (such as blue, green, pink, white, and black), among other features. Meanwhile, the Pro models are said to come with an A18 Pro chip, larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, the same camera capture buttons, and new tones, including Black Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Bronze Titanium.
Apple is also expected to reveal the Apple Watch Series 10, which should be available in 45 mm and 49 mm sizes. The device is rumored to have a slimmer case, more powerful performance, and updated health sensors for sleep apnea, hypertension, and more.
Additionally, the Apple AirPods 4 are anticipated to be introduced at the event. Reports suggest that the next-generation device will feature the H2 chip, improved battery life, and hearing aid functions.
In addition to product launches, Apple will share release dates for software updates, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia.
