Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck simply can’t escape the spotlight — or each other.
The duo has once again become Hollywood’s favourite talking point after appearing together at the Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere in New York City. Photos of the pair posing on the red carpet were enough to ignite a fresh wave of rumours about a possible reunion between the 56-year-old actress and singer and the 53-year-old actor and director.
And honestly, who could blame anyone for speculating? After three years of marriage — from 2022 to 2025 — and a breakup that still feels recent, the idea of seeing Bennifer giving it another go feels like a collective fever dream. Especially considering that in their first chapter, back in 2002, they got engaged and called off their wedding in 2003 before ever making it down the aisle.
But before anyone starts daydreaming about Bennifer 3.0, a source close to the pair set the record straight in a statement to People: “Jennifer’s doing well. She’s focused on the things that make her happy — her family and her work. There’s no romantic reunion with Ben. They continue to support each other and are proud of what they accomplished together,” the insider said.
Still, seeing them share a red carpet was enough for social media to collectively shout, “Not again!” Because if history repeats itself, the internet might just lose its mind watching them fall in and out of love once more.
