Stella McCartney brings together Kylie Jenner and Gia Coppola for Wild Horses, a short film blending fashion, sustainability and animal freedom.

Stella McCartney continues to demonstrate that fashion can transcend aesthetics to become a powerful form of cultural expression. The British designer has unveiled Wild Horses, a short film starring Kylie Jenner and directed by Gia Coppola, offering a fresh interpretation of contemporary luxury through nature, freedom and respect for animals.

The project brings together three prominent figures from the creative industries in a visual production that moves away from the traditional conventions of fashion campaigns. Rather than relying on artificial settings or elaborate productions, Kylie Jenner appears immersed in water alongside a trained horse, creating a sequence that conveys sensitivity, connection and a deliberately natural sense of beauty.

Jenner’s involvement is no coincidence. Known for her influence on contemporary culture and her distinctive interpretation of glamour, the entrepreneur reveals a different side of herself, stepping away from the conventional sophistication that characterises many of her public appearances.

Under Gia Coppola’s direction, the short film explores the relationship between humans and the animal world, creating a narrative in which vulnerability and freedom take centre stage.

Beyond its cinematic dimension, Wild Horses also introduces one of the fashion house’s latest creations: the Appaloosa bag, inspired by Lucky Spot, the beloved stallion of Linda McCartney, the designer’s mother.

This personal reference connects the collection to Stella McCartney’s family history and her well-known passion for horses, a recurring influence throughout her creative universe.

The collection also features new My Little Pony charms, first presented on the Autumn/Winter 2026 runway, which are scheduled to launch in December.

However, the campaign’s central message extends far beyond accessories. The fashion house aims to raise awareness of the vulnerability of wild horses in the United States, supporting the initiative with donations to international organisations dedicated to equine welfare.
