Austin Butler takes on his role as Yves Saint Laurent ambassador once again for the launch of MYSLF Le Parfum, the latest addition to the MYSLF fragrance line. Following his initial collaboration with the brand, the actor is partnering with YSL once more to introduce this fragrance, which is distinguished by its main note of orange blossom, evoking personal childhood memories.
In a recent interview with Esquire UK, Butler shared that the scent of the perfume reminds him of the orange groves from his childhood in Orange County. “The smell of orange blossoms and making juice with my mother takes me back to those days,” the actor noted, highlighting the personal connection he feels with the new release.
Though his personal care routine is simple—“I just splash a little water on my face”—Butler considers fragrance an essential part of his day. His fascination with scents began at age 11 when he met Fabio Lanzoni on a set. “He was wearing a rich, warm fragrance, and it captivated me from then on,” he recalls.
MYSLF Le Parfum, inspired by the orange trees surrounding Yves Saint Laurent’s house in Marrakech, will be released on September 2. Butler, who is also enjoying warm summer nights in New York and excited about his recent work in The Bikeriders, is enthusiastic about collaborating with the iconic brand once again.
